As I'm getting ready to go to Lancaster for tonight's Shadowland, I wanted to ask that everyone please be careful. The snow storm's not going to be that bad, but with the rain, it may be a bit icy at first. Just take your time and you should be fine.

Tonight, December 5th, marks year 1 at the Chameleon Club! It will be 3 Years for Shadowland Lancaster in Feb. Thank you to all who has supported your local freak scene! We are nothing without you folks!

Hello Folks!
Tomorrow at Shadowland Lancaster things get Steamy and I'm not talking about the air-conditioning.... that problems solved ;P

No, what I am talking about is The Steamwerk Ball!
A Steampunk/ Neo-Victorian themed party ( just in the case if you are unfamiliar with the term, check it out on Wikipedia or Google.

Obviously, we are encouraging people to dress up in their most awesome Steampunk Attire, but please don't feel left out if you're not dressing up in the theme, everyone IS WELCOME to this event! In other words, this is still the Shadowland Lancaster Club Night.

Somethings you should know about:
There is a costume contest with a Prize for the Best Male and Female Costumes! The Judging will begin at 11:30 PM!
There will be Door Prizes given out through the course of the night!
We will have Vendors!
We open at 9 pm, you may want to show up early, just to be safe. Rumor has it that we are going to be packed!
This Event is Still $5.00!!!!!!!!! You can't beat that.

On July 8th The Chameleon Club in Lancaster Pennsylvania will host Peter Murphy! There is not a Philadelphia stop this time around.

The Tickets for the show are $20. in advance and $22. on the day of the event. Go to http://www.chameleonclub.net to get tickets.

First of all, my apologies for getting the set list out a week late. I was a bit overloaded with my day job this week.

This month it was me, Dave Ghoul and special guest DJ Poe on the decks.
I was a bit worried that we would be running a bit light with Fairy Festival going on at the same time and losing some people to that event. As it turns out, we had a lot of new faces on the dance floor! The official count was 110 people! The energy was high all night and it was reflected in our sets.....

Thank you to our new family member Lancaster native DJ Diesel, our new Lighting Tech!
Thank you to DJ Poe for not only a kick-ass set, but also making the trek from Southern Maryland.
Thank you as always to my partner in GothClubiness, Dave Ghoul for not only being a great Disc Jockey, but for all the hard IT and design work that he does for Shadowland Lancaster.
Thank you to all of the members of our Propaganda Team for spreading the word!
Thank you to the Chameleon Club for still believing in us.
And Thank You to all of our regular family members for being loyal and to all of the NEW folks who dared to come out and try something new.

I did make a special announcement on Saturday... We Will Be Open JULY 4th!
But I wanted to do something a bit different. I've been wanting to do a Themed Ball of sorts for a while now and I figured that since we got the 4th of July holiday to be open I thought that it was the perfect time.
July 4th will be "SHADOWLAND LANCASTER PRESENTS, THE STEAMWERK BALL", a steampunk themed event. Costumed Attire is heavily suggested but not mandatory of course. To encourage you to dress up there will be prizes for the best Steampunk outfits.... btw, this event is still a work in progress and I'll keep you updated through the normal outlets.

Hey folks just an update about the goings on for this Saturday,

On the decks will be DJ Kiltboy, Dave Ghoul and guest spinning this is month DJ Poe! For those of you who may remember this is the original line up from the beginning of the days at The Dark Corner in Philadelphia. DJ Poe is also the man who headed up the short lived Shadowland UK!

We are happy to announce that we are adding Lancaster's own DJ Diesel to the Shadowland Family as a Lighting Tech..... Don't worry, for the sensitives we are omitting strobe effects. DJ Diesel can be reached at http://www.djdieselpa.com/

Tomorrow I'll be DJing @ The Square Bar for Saint Patricks Day. It's Located in West Chester PA and we will be starting at 10 am!!!!! till God knows when!

Wednesday I'll be doing a Guest DeeJaying Spot at Nocturne in the 80's room for an hour! I'm currently on Vacation so I wanted to do something relaxing ;)

Until then, I've got to take care of my cat Yuki who just got Neutered today.... two hours until medication time! Yeah, thats gonna be fun.

What Is The Wicked Winter Faire And Why Should You Go?

Well, the best way I can explain it ( since I haven't been to it yet ):

The Wicked Winter Faire is a project by a gentleman by the name of Jeff Mach. Held in February and now in it's 6th year, is loosely a mix of a Renaissance Faire, Steam-punk convention, Goth Event and general Freak Show, plus a whole lot more! Check the web site for more info.

Chock full of entertainment from the likes of Voltaire, Ego Likeness, The White Elephant Burlesque Society, Repo The Genetic Opera and well.... me! With a Hell of a lot more!

Vendors and Artists abound!
From the Awesome Horror Art of D.E.Christman of Grendals Den ( my web master btw ) to Artisans of Leather, costumes and other fantastic goodies!

WHY SHOULD YOU GO?
Because it's different than anything that you've ever done, it's crazy, it's awesome, it's great mid-winter escapism and Hugh Casey's going to it so....

I'll be DeeJaying on both Friday Night ( After Repo The Genetic Opera ) and Saturday Night, after the Revel.

What will I be playing?
Gothic, Industrial, EBM, New Wave, Old School Punk, Ska, Rock and whatever will get those belly dancing girls on the floor :)
